On 14, 15 and 16 February 2019, Madrid Design Festival will be presenting a professional programme that will bring together key figures in national and international design in Madrid with a single goal: to redesign the world.
Festival days will be focused on exhibiting and resolving large current challenges, viewed through the prism of design. Madrid Design Festival is committed to design that can transform society, create initiatives and businesses involved in changing economic and social relations. The impact of this design focus will become clear during the festival, which will offer an ambitious programme divided into several segments and formats.
The essential mission of this ambitious project is to disseminate and publicise the transformative side of design, as strategic and regenerative. The values of design applied to improving society must touch the hearts and minds of the creators, as well as the general public. That is why the programme is addressed to a specialised public, agencies and work teams associated with the universe of design, studios and schools, as well as large companies and institutions. Start-ups will also have their chance at the festival to network and establish new connections, stepping forward into a future in which they can renew the world with design.
Madrid Design Festival will invite renowned professionals on the international arena to shake up local debates, to therefore give voice to Spain’s future leaders and professionals.
For three days, the guest speakers will delve into and explore topics as the creative process and the production stage, as well as different formulas for success and the new techniques from which 21st century design will draw inspiration. Madrid Design Pro is the perfect stage for learning, exchanging and fostering new connections that may plant the seeds for important future projects.
