Fernán Gómez Theater is located in the heart of Madrid’s art circuit, close to museums and galleries that claim the cultural identity of the city. Adjacent to the National Library, this building from the late nineteenth century is a place of passage for theater and dance companies. It is the venue for exhibitions and has an auditorium for concerts. In this first edition of Madrid Design Festival, Fernán Gómez will host a retrospective exhibition of the career of the Spanish Jaime Hayon; as well as Alfaro Hofmann’s collection of electrical appliances, a chronological journey through the evolution of household objects; and a sample of the most emblematic vinyl covers in the history of music.
