The International Design Competition organised by Andreu World has been held every year since 2001, which surely makes it one of the oldest design competitions. Its specific field makes it unique: the design of chairs and tables. The total number of entries from all the previous years is astounding, with tens of thousands of entries from more than 100 countries.
This competition has turned into an international showcase to promote and try to find new design talents. So far, over 30,000 designers have entered the competition from 124 countries from all 5 continents as well as over 200 international architecture and design schools.
In 2020, it will be celebrating its 20th anniversary within the Madrid Design Festival with an exhibition in the COAM venue to be opened on 13th February. For the opening, there will also be a forum with Spanish businesses that promote international competitions and awards to support emerging talents in different creative fields, like design, interior design and architecture.

Dates: February 13 to 15
Visiting hours: Monday to Friday from 9am to 8pm
