Exhibition of the shortlisted projects for the Toca Madera competition for young professional designers. This exhibition shows the shortlisted projects of the Toca Madera (Touch Wood) competition that received over 40 entries by young professional designers from all over Spain.
The competition was jointly organised by AIDI (Association of Industrial Design Engineers) and AHEC (American Hardwood Export Council). For this competition, the participants were asked to take on the challenge of designing “infinite objects”. In other words, objects that will last forever, using wood as the main component, specifically, American red oak.
During the Madrid Design Festival 2020, a committee of well-known designers will choose the three winners who will win a 5.000€ cash prize. The winners will be announced on 15th February at the COAM venue after a talk about sustainable design.
